This 24V lithium trolling motor battery set from Dakota Lithium was engineered in 35Ah U1 SLA case's, but with 46 amp hours (Ah) of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology. These batteries have three times the power, half the weight, and lasts 5 times longer than a U1 sealed lead acid battery – providing exceptional performance & lifetime value. 46 Amp hours of capacity often provides a full day of power for small trolling motors with 70 lbs thrust or less. Lithium deep cycle battery durability, backed by an 11 Year Warranty. A Dakota Lithium 24V 5A charger is included or discounted upgrades to onboard chargers are available.

Storage Capacity
46 amp hours. Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 46Ah's. LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

Trolling Motor Compatibility

Lifecycles (Battery Lifespan)
Up to 80% capacity for 6,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.
Operating Temperature
Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20°F min, +150°F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). Avoid charging below 32°F without a Battery Heater.
Discharge
50A max continuous discharge. The flat discharge voltage curve provides 3X larger usable capacity than a U1 SLA 35Ah battery.
Charge
Recommend for longest life 10A or less (.2C). Max continuous 23A (.5C). 28.8V max recommended, 30V max. BMS protection from over charging will cut off at 30V. A Dakota Lithium 24V 5A LiFePO4 compatible charger that charges at the recommended 28.8 volts is included and several discounted onboard charger options are available.
Balancing
Lithium batteries must be balanced before connecting in series for optimal capacity and lifespan. Please review Dakota Lithium's Balancing Instructions. A 12V 10A charger is also included with this package in order to complete this process.
Includes Active BMS Protection
Every Dakota Lithium battery contains a Battery Management System (BMS) that handles automatic cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.
Cold Temperature Charging Protection
Contains a smart BMS temperature cutoff that prevents charging when cells are below 32°F / 0°C and protects the batteries.

- NOCO 2 Bank Onboard Charger - Charges each 12V battery individually at 10 amps each.
- NOCO 3 Bank Onboard Charger - Charges each 12V battery plus the boats starting battery individually at 10 amps each. Each bank can be individually set for lead-acid, AGM or lithium batteries.
- Dakota Lithium 4 Bank Onboard Charger - Charge each of these 12V batteries plus two more lithium batteries, all at 10 amps each.
