With the new DL+ 12V 315 Ah battery, we built our most compact and powerful battery yet. Engineered for maximum energy density, Dakota Lithium has packed 315 amp hours (Ah) of capacity in a waterproof battery case the size of a single 100Ah battery. That’s 6X the amount of usable power of a single group 31 AGM battery. Plus, up to 1,000 cold cranking amps of engine starting power, making this battery the ultimate single battery solution for boats, RVs, or any vehicle where you need a house battery that can jump start your engine. Built out of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology and reinforced with a ruggedized marine spec plastic case, this is a battery built to last. With a lifespan of 5,000 charge cycles this battery will last up to 6 times longer than your typical AGM battery – providing exceptional value over time. Best in Class 11 Year Warranty. That is 10 years more warranty then most lead acid batteries.
Storage Capacity
315 amp hours. Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 315Ah's. LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

Lifespan/Lifecycles
Up to 80% capacity for 4,000 cycles in recommended conditions, 70% capacity at 5,000 recharge cycles. Half-life (50% capacity) of 6,000 - 7,000 re-charge cycles (Typical SLA has 500 cycles). Backed up by an 11 year warranty.
Discharge
200A max continuous, 300A max 10-second pulse, 1,000A max 2-sec CCA pulse. Lithium batteries have a flat voltage curve, meaning this battery will maintain a voltage of >12V for the full discharge cycle in most applications.
Charge
<200A standard charge, 300A max charge current for <60 sec. 14.4V Recommended, 14.6V Max. A Dakota Lithium 20A charger is included.
Alternator Charging
We do not recommend this battery for automotive or other applications where it would be directly charged off an alternator. To be charged off an alternator, this should be an auxiliary battery and a DC-DC charger like the Orion-Tr Smart Charger installed in order to charge the battery at LiFePO4 acceptable voltages.

Operating Temperature
Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20°F min, +150°F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). BMS high temp cut off at 167°F (75°C). LiFePO4 batteries are not suitable for use in an engine compartment due to these temperature limitations.
Internal Even-Heat Technology
Increases performance in extreme cold. When charging the battery in temperatures below 0°C/32°F, the internal heating element will warm the cells to 0°C/32°F. This increases the lifespan, performance, and efficiency of the battery.
Includes Active BMS Protection
Every Dakota Lithium battery contains a Battery Management System (BMS) that handles automatic cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.

Terminals & Posts
M8 bolt terminals with hardware included. Easy to adapt to different connection needs. (Max torque 15 ft lbs). Standard SAE Post Adapters are also available.

Max IP65 water resistance rating. Appropriate for marine environments, not submersible.
Charger Included
A Dakota Lithium 20A charger is included. Dakota Lithium batteries like to be charged at 14.4 volts, higher than AGM or lead acid.
Certifications
All Dakota Lithium batteries are UN38.3 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Dakota Lithium is ISO Certified per 9001:2015 standards, and select models are produced in ISO 14001 certified facilities.
