This battery package combines 3 of our award winning 12V 135Ah DL+ dual purpose batteries in series to create a 36V system capable of 1,000 Cold Cranking Amps — more than enough power for most golf carts. Storage Capacity
135Ah. Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 135 amp hours. LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

38.4V (three 12.8V batteries to be wired in series). This set is intended for 36V applications (Dakota Lithium 12V batteries can be used in series up to 48V max).

Lifecycles (Battery Lifespan)
Up to 80% capacity for 2,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.
Operating Temperature
Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20°F min, +120°F max optimal discharging temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). Equipped with an internal heater for charging below freezing.
Discharge
270A max continuous discharge, 1,000A max 2 second pulse, 900A max 5 sec pulse. 27V Max discharge, 33V Max recommended discharge. The flat discharge voltage curve provides 75% more usable capacity than a 135Ah SLA battery with the same CCA rating.
Motor Controller Limit
Compatible with motor controllers up to 400A and can handle up to 650 amps of in rush current. If you do not know how many amps your golf cart's motor uses than we recommend this 135Ah set to ensure you are happy with the range when consuming higher amperages, it is compatible with nearly all 36V golf cart motors on the market.
Charge
50A max, recommend for longest life 40A or less. 43.2V recommended, 45V max. A Dakota Lithium 36V 8A charger is included and a discounted upgrade to an 18A charger is optional to recharge in less than half the time. Discounted onboard battery charger options are also available with this package.
Balancing
Lithium batteries must be balanced before connecting in series for optimal capacity and lifespan if being charged as a 36V set. Please review Dakota Lithium's Balancing Instructions. A 12V 10A charger is also included with this package in order to complete this process unless a multi-bank charger is selected. If batteries are charged individually, balancing is not required.
Includes Active BMS Protection
Every Dakota Lithium battery contains a Battery Management System (BMS) that handles automatic cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.
Cold Weather Protection
Excellent performance and use down to -20°F.
Internal Even-Heat Technology
When charging these batteries in temperatures below 0°C/32°F, the internal heating elements will warm the cells to 0°C/32°F. This increases the lifespan, performance, and efficiency of the battery. Even-Heat technology allows for charging and using the battery in extreme temperatures down to -20F°.
