NOCO Commercial-Grade 4D Battery Box
The HM408 4D battery box is a commercial grade storage solution for group 4D batteries, including marine, RV and commercial applications. It features a four corner fastening system and captive lid for easy installations, large cable entry holes for heavy gauge wires, full flow ventilation for releasing battery gasses, and a large battery acid reservoir. Its rugged, rotationally molded design provides ultimate protection in low-temperature environments and protects against UV, oil, gas and other contaminants.

Ventilation
When a battery is presented with a high enough charge, the internal chemicals will begin to give off hydrogen gas. This gas can be dangerous when it is concentrated. NOCO’s battery boxes all have proper ventilation, allowing for gases to escape.
Internal Reservoir
Should there ever be an event where the structural integrity of the battery inside a NOCO battery box is weakened, the internal reservoir will collect any excess liquid, protecting the surrounding environment and keeping the acid away from the battery.
