Engineered with Dakota Lithium’s signature Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology this battery has twice the power, half the weight, and lasts 5 times longer than a lead acid or AGM battery – providing exceptional lifetime value. The dual purpose BMS provides exceptional safety, reliability, and versatility, giving you exceptional deep cycle performance for running onboard electronics, plus 300 CCA's of engine starting power for use in ATVs, UTVs, lawn tractors, generators, and other small gasoline engines. 25 amp hours. Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 25Ah. LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

Terminals
M6 terminals (posts that screw in). 2 sided terminal block allows for side or top installation. When used in salt water environments we recommend applying a small amount of dielectric grease on top of each terminal after installation to help reduce corrosion (Recommended Torque 5 ft lbs, Max Torque 9 ft lbs).

Lifecycles (Battery Lifespan)
Up to 80% capacity for 3,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.
OperatingTemperature
Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20°F min, +120°F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). Avoid charging below 32°F.
Discharge
30A max continuous, 300A max pulse (<5 sec). The flat discharge voltage curve provides a 75% larger capacity than a 25Ah SLA battery. Please note: a single battery is only appropriate for trolling motors with <20 lbs of thrust. For trolling motors with 20 to 30 lbs of thrust a DL 46Ah battery is required. Or you can combine two batteries in parallel to create a 50 Amp continuous discharge rate and 50Ah of capacity. This provides the amps necessary to run the larger motor, increases runtime, and lifespan of the battery.
Charge
30A max, 14.4V recommended, 15V max. This battery must be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. Can also be charged by ATV, UTV or powersports engine alternator (<30A output). Select the option above to bundle with a Dakota Lithium charger and save $.
Includes Active BMS Protection
Every Dakota Lithium battery contains a Battery Management System (BMS) that handles automatic cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.
Smart Dual Purpose BMS
Optimizes battery for use in both deep cycle applications and engine starting applications and allows for the battery to be charged by a power sports, tractor, ATV, or UTV engine alternator.
Charger Sold Separately
This battery must be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. Option to bundle and save with Dakota Lithium charger is available above.
Certifications
All batteries are UN38 certified. Dakota Lithium batteries are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards.
