Product Description
Built Dakota tough, this 12V lithium deep cycle battery with 7Ah capacity is made with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology and built to last. With a lifespan of 2,000 charge cycles this battery will last up to 5 times longer than your typical SLA battery while providing 100% more capacity at 60% less weight. Rated at 7 Ampere Hours (Ah), this is our smallest and lightest battery. Ideal for industrial purposes where you need a long lifespan battery that charges quickly, or for outdoor uses where weight is at a premium. It's compact size is also commonly used as backup power for alarm systems. Lithium deep cycle battery durability, backed by an 11 Year Warranty. LiFePO4 compatible charger required. Save 10% on a Dakota Lithium, X2Power or NOCO Charger when bundled with battery using option above.
Common Applications:
- Hiking, Camping, & Outdoors
- Replacement for SLA 12V
- Fish Finders & Flashers
- Robotics
- Solar Lighting
- E-Scooters
- Home Alarm Systems

11 Year Warranty
Best in class, 11 year manufacturer defect warranty.
Size
5.94"x 2.55"x 3.74" Replaces UB1280 battery and many others.
Weight
2lbs 2oz (1.30Kg). That's 60% lighter then a SLA battery.
Capacity
7 ampere hours. Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 7Ah. LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.
Lifecycles (Battery Lifespan)
Up to 80% capacity for 2,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.
Operating Temperature
Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -20°F min, +120°F max optimal operating temps (battery performs well down to -20°F). Avoid charging below 32°F.
Terminals
Standard F2 terminals (6.35mm or 0.25" wide male spade).
Discharge
10A max continuous, 50A max 300 mS pulse. 9.0V max discharge, 11.0V max recommended discharge. For longest lifetime recommended discharge rate 1-5 Amps. The flat discharge voltage curve provides a 75% larger capacity than a 7Ah SLA battery.
Charge
10A max, 14.4V recommended, 15V max. This battery must be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. Save 10% on a Dakota Lithium 3A Charger, an X2Power 2A Automatic Charger or a NOCO 2A Charger/Maintainer when bundled with battery using option above. Dakota Lithium chargers should not be left connected for more than 16-24 hours. Use an automatic charger or maintainer for long term connectivity.
Includes Active BMS Protection
Every Dakota Lithium battery contains a Battery Management System (BMS) that handles automatic cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection and high temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.
Deep Cycle Use Only
Not designed for starting engines.
Charger Sold Separately
This battery must be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. See below.
Multiple charging options are available with this battery to suit your various needs. 10% discount on a charger when bundled with battery using option above.
- Dakota Lithium 3A Charger - The most economical option. Must be disconnected when charging is complete.
- X2Power 2A Automatic Charger - Fully automatic charging for optimal battery health and extended battery life.
- NOCO 2A Charger & Maintainer - Charges and maintains the battery 24/7 for occasional battery use or off season storage.
