OEM and competitor lookups. Always confirm voltage, group size, terminals, and dimensions before substituting.
Match common manufacturer numbers to GMI equivalents. Electrical fit is not a drop-in guarantee.
Case dimensions and typical applications by BCI group.

Charge profiles and charger matching. Use the datasheet when values differ.
AGM, gel, and lithium bulk / absorb / float ranges, plus temperature compensation.
Bank size vs recommended charger family.
| Chemistry | Bulk / absorb (12 V) | Float (12 V) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| AGM | 14.4–14.7 V | 13.5–13.8 V | Temperature compensate ~ −18 mV/°C per 12 V block. |
| Gel | 14.1–14.4 V | 13.5–13.8 V | Do not use an AGM-only “boost” profile on gel. |
| Flooded | 14.6–14.8 V | 13.2–13.5 V | Equalize only when the manufacturer specifies it. |
| LiFePO4 | 14.2–14.6 V | Often none / 13.4–13.6 V | Use a lithium profile. Do not equalize. |
Example setpoints. Replace with your published charge tables.

| Do | Do not |
|---|---|
| Wear eye protection and follow the SDS for the chemistry you are handling. | Do not mix old and new batteries, or different chemistries, in the same series string. |
| Torque terminals to the datasheet value and use the specified hardware. | Do not charge lithium on an AGM/gel equalize or boost profile. |
| Fuse each string as close to the positive terminal as practical. | Do not install flooded batteries in an unvented living space. |

Short answers. Edit the copy; duplicate a details block to add a question.
No. Different charge voltages, internal resistance, and BMS behavior. Run one chemistry per bank.
Match chemistry first, then bank Ah. A common starting point is about 10–20% of Ah for lead-acid and the datasheet charge current for lithium.
