The NOCO GENIUS1 is a compact 6V/12V 1 amp smart battery charger and maintainer designed for year-round use with automotive, powersports, and small deep-cycle batteries. A temperature-compensated, automatic charging profile delivers fast, safe charging and reliable maintenance without overcharge. Charging Algorithm & Chemistry

The GENIUS1 uses an intelligent profile that charges, then optimizes, and finally maintains the battery. Specific peak voltage setpoints for each battery chemistry, all at up to 1A—ideal for batteries up to 30Ah while maintaining all battery sizes. It supports lead-acid types (Flooded, Gel, AGM) plus 12V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries with a BMS. After reaching full charge, the charger switches to ongoing maintenance; the Charge LED pulses green during optimization and turns solid green at 100% while maintenance cycles continue.
