Twice the Energy
Standard lead acid batteries give you 50% of the Ah rating as usable energy. The Safari UT 3500 BT-H gives you 100% usage of all 280Ah to keep you powered twice as long on a single charge as lead-acid.
Less Weight
At only 72 lbs, the UT 3500 BT-H is about 1/3 the weight of 3 traditional batteries that would be needed to achieve the same amp hour total.
Expandable for More Power
One Lion Safari UT 3500 BT-H can provide 150 amps of continuous and a 280A peak discharge. For higher capacity or voltages, they can be connected in parallel up to 4 for 1,120Ah, or 4 in series for up to 48 volts.
Longer Lifespan
Lithium deep cycle durability allows for thousands of charging cycles and can hold a charge for over a year.
Battery Management System (BMS)
The Safari UT series all have an internal Battery Management System (BMS) that acts as a safety net to shut down the battery if it out of parameters. This prevents the battery from overcharging or discharging as well as operating outside of the temperature range.
Charging
Fast charging at up to 140 amps. Charging at 45 amps or less is recommended for optimal battery life. LiFePO4 compatible charger required. Save 10% on a Lion Energy charger when bundled with battery using option above.
Cold Weather Charging
Fully automatic internal heater turns on at 32°F when connected to a charger. Heater automatically turns off at 41°F for energy conservation.
Lifetime Warranty
The UT 3500 BT-H 12V lithium battery comes with a limited lifetime warranty and is the last battery you'll probably ever need. Using Lithium Iron Phosphate technology, it can be drained and recharged thousands of times. Years and years longer than lead acid batteries.
